This privacy policy is formulated by Strong Lumen (Developer: Shi ZhangShun) and applies to our application Strong Lumen (hereinafter referred to as "this Application"). We attach great importance to user privacy. The following content explains how this Application handles privacy-related matters.

1. Overview

This Application mainly features local offline functionality. However, to implement the hotfix feature, this Application will establish a secure connection with the third-party service https://console.shorebird.dev when necessary to download patches or hot update packages. Except for hotfixes, other functions of the Application still run locally and will not actively collect or transmit user personal data.

2. Purpose of Communication with Third-Party Server (Shorebird)

Communication with console.shorebird.dev is solely for:

• Checking for available hotfix patches;
• Downloading and applying patches signed or verified by us to quickly fix critical defects or security issues;
• Obtaining patch metadata (such as patch version number, compatibility information).

3. Types of Data Transmitted

To implement the hotfix mechanism, this Application may send or receive the following non-personally identifiable (non-PII) technical information to/from the Shorebird platform:

• Application version number and build number (e.g., for determining patch compatibility);
• Operating system version and device model (for determining patch applicability);
• Randomly generated device instance ID or application instance ID (only used to distinguish different devices for secure patch delivery, not for user identification);
• The patch package itself (downloaded binary/compressed files) and patch metadata (such as version, size, signature information).

Important Note: Except for the above technical information, this Application will not upload users' contacts, messages, photos, location information, communication content, or other personal data to Shorebird or any third-party servers.

4. Security

All communications with console.shorebird.dev are conducted via HTTPS (TLS) to ensure confidentiality and integrity during transmission. Patch packages will undergo integrity checks and signature verification (if applicable) before and after download to prevent tampering or injection of malicious code.

5. Third-Party Service Statement

Shorebird (provided by its operator), as a third-party hotfix platform, may process and temporarily store the received technical metadata in accordance with its own policies. We recommend that you also review Shorebird's privacy policy to understand details of its data processing. We only send necessary technical information (see Section 3) to Shorebird for patch determination and distribution.

6. User Choices and Opt-Out

If you do not want your device to receive hotfix patches, you can choose to opt out in the following ways:

• Turn off the "Auto Hotfix/Hot Update" switch in the Application settings (if the Application provides this option);
• Or stop all communications by uninstalling the Application.

7. Data Retention

We only retain metadata generated on the server (such as patch version information, delivery logs) for the period necessary to implement the hotfix function. The specific retention period is determined by internal policies jointly followed by the Shorebird platform and us; please contact us for the specific data retention period.

8. Data Security and Risk Statement

Although we use measures such as encrypted transmission and signature verification to reduce risks, any network communication theoretically carries certain risks. We will make every effort to ensure that patch sources are trustworthy and transmission is secure.

9. Policy Updates

If there are significant changes in data collection or third-party integration in this Application in the future (such as introducing features that collect personal data or new third-party services), we will update this privacy policy before the Application update and inform users through in-Application notifications or release notes.
